BFI LFF Film Academy accreditation is available to all young people (18 to 25 years old) based in the UK and interested in pursuing and progressing a career in the film industry. Over 25s in full-time education and in possession of a valid student ID can also apply.

The 2020 edition of the festival will offer the BFI Film Academy delegates an opportunity to engage with the festival virtually.

Your festival accreditation will give you access to:

  • online Press and Industry screenings
  • online Industry events
  • online events in the LFF Education programme taking place during the festival

BFI Film Academy accreditation costs £35.

The number of BFI Film Academy delegate passes is limited and subject to availability.

You will be required to upload photo ID as proof of age when registering. If you are over 25, but in full-time education, you will be required to upload a photo of a valid student ID.

If you don’t meet the BFI Film Academy age and/or education criteria, you may still be eligible for Industry accreditation.

BFI Film Academy accreditation will close at 5pm Friday 2 October 2020, or once all the passes have been sold (whichever is earlier).

All photo IDs and student IDs will only be used to confirm registration criteria. They will be stored securely during the festival and will be deleted as soon as the festival closes.
