The Lure of London (1914)

Film details

Drama (section only). Wealthy artist William Anderson takes an interest in humble flower-seller Daisy. Daisy goes to the theatre with paper-seller Charlie, and on arriving home late has a falling out with Mr and Mrs Brooks, whom she believes to be her parents, though they are not really. She goes to Anderson's mansion instead, where he paints her portrait. Anderson's friend Olga arrives and does not take to Daisy, whom nobody realises is really her sister.
