Film details


1944. Young Lucien starts working for a branch of the Gestapo but he discovers a sense of responsibility as he gets to know a Jewish family. He escapes with the daughter, whom he loves, and her grandmother after the father is killed and they live together on a farm. A postscript announces that Lucien was killed as a traitor at the Liberation.
