A humble garage owner strikes oil and becomes rich. His wife insists that the whole family go to Paris to enjoy their new found wealth, though much against her husband's wishes. She wins him over by claiming that their son will learn more in Paris than in four years of college, and secretly hopes that her daughter will find a titled husband.
