The White Rose (1923)

Film details


A Louisiana businessman, Beaugarde, has an affair with a young girl who pretends she is an experienced flapper. He returns to his home town to marry Marie Carrington only to be pursued by the girl, who has fallen on hard times, now has a baby and has been taken in temporarily by the black community. Beaugarde realises he is actually in love with her. Conviniently, Marie is attracted to John White, a wealthy businessman.
