Film details

Musical comedy. Has-been Hollywood song and dance man Tony Hunter tries to make his Broadway debut in a light musical comedy. During rehearsals, the show's highbrow director, Jeff Cordova, turns it into an overblown Faust allegory, to the frustration of all involved. Meanwhile, Hunter initially fails to see eye to eye with his co-star, ballerina Gabrielle Girard, but as they learn to dance together, they also begin to fall for each other.
