A compilation of amateur film held by the Archive in the Centre of South Asian Studies, University of Cambridge. Intended as a teaching film to illustrate aspects of social, domestic and administrative life in India from personal films taken by British people in India between 1925 and 1947, and as a contribution to the debate on the use of film in the teaching of historical and related social studies. Accompanied by a booklet of teaching notes.
