Western. Cowboy John Weston is offered the job of undercover agent in a small Western town after he singlehandedly shoots several bandits. On his way to Dalton to investigate suspicious circumstances at a rodeo, he fights off a band of outlaws attacking a stagecoach and is offered the job of deputy sheriff of Dalton. However, John only wants to win the local rodeo competition, but finds himself up against a crooked gang whose leader, Barton, tries to bribe John, now favourite to win the rodeo, to lose the contest.
