Synopsis

Documentary about how the British Secret Service recruited known war criminals who had worked for the Nazi regime to act as anti-communist agents in post-war Europe. It examines the case of two Latvians who settled in Britain after the war without any enquiry into their wartime atrocities, and that of Robert Osis who organised the mass murder of Riga's jews but later lived in Burgess HIll. The American Intelligence expert John Loftus states that Kim Philby recruited Nazis on orders from Moscow, leading to devastating consequences for Western Intelligence.
