Synopsis

The first in a series of seven programmes which introduces some of the growing range of computer applications in the home, office and industry. Designed particularly for those whose fear of computers is proving a barrier to getting on, both those who are already in work and those who want to re-enter the workforce after a break. Uses a combination of documentary and drama. The first video covers "usability and approachability". Sally meets people who have tamed their computers and tries to introduce Helen to word-processing.
