Report Writing (1993)

Film details

Comedy drama featuring an engineer and his boss, who teaches him how to communicate his ideas in a clear well-structured report. Explains four key principles of structure - position, problem, possibilities and proposals; the need to use plain English, avoiding technical jargon; details of presentation - well spaced, short paragraphs with headings and sub-headings; and inclusion of supporting data in an appendix rather than in the body of the report.
