Synopsis

Romantic comedy. Writer Sophie lives in her own fantasy world and works in a library, where she meets Eddie, the man of her dreams. He is interested in her, even though he is already involved with a demanding fiancee. As a result of childhood polio one of Sophie's legs is paralysed. When it gets broken in an accident she embarks on a brief relationship with Eddie, the accident offering her an ideal opportunity since she previously believed that the paralysis in her leg would put him off.
