Satirical comedy. In the 1950s Australian communist Joan Fraser writes continually to Joseph Stalin in Moscow. Eventually she is invited to meet him and ends up returning to Australia made pregnant by Stalin. Joan names her son Joseph who grows up and himself makes an entry into Australian politics.
