The first programme in a six-part series capturing a year in the life of a community mental health team and its patients. Follows the story of a young black man with a history of paranoid schizophrenia. Shows the distressing side effects of anti-psychotic drugs and examines the issues involved in compulsory treatment, as the patient is forcibly committed to hospital under Section two of the Mental Health Act.
