The story of the libel case brought against two members of the London Greenpeace group, Dave Morris and Helen Steel by the multinational fast food chain McDonalds for distributing a leaflet criticising the corporation's business ethics. Allegations made in the leaflet included references to rainforest destruction, cruelty to animals, deceptive advertising, and poor pay and conditions for the workforce. The trial lasted over 300 days and reputedly cost the corporation £10 million. Filmed over a three-year period, consists of a mixture of courtroom reconstructions, interviews and other documentary footage.
