A five-part series specially created to meet the needs of primary schoolchildren who are just starting to learn German. Henning is an eccentric, friendly character who lives in a colourful house. A lively group of German children meet up there, and in each programme, Henning sets them a riddle that they have to solve. The quests involve the children in exploring the town. Story themes link to the topic frameworks, and include the alphabet, numbers, introductions, parts of the body, sports, weather and trips, days of the week, seasons, and special occasions. The programmes are entirely in German.
