Investigates the bizarre consequences of the UK government ban on fur farming in Januray 2003, at a time when British furriers were reporting a 35 per cent increase in sales and fur was making a comeback on the catwalks and in retail outlets. Imports were booming as foreign competitors took advantage of the British consumers' renewed interest in fur. The programme talks to fur farmers forced to work abroad, top designers who use fur, and protesters planning a campaign against the trend.
