Film details

Shifts Stravinsky's orchestral work - about a heathen, sacrificial rite of spring - to modern times and the world of Cuban Santeria, one of the few archaic religions still practised today. God is portrayed as a black woman, who creates three people and places them in the same city to observe their lives. All three are transported to a strange tropical island, where they encounter black albinos, people of short stature and cross-dressers, who prepare them for a ritual to heal them of their fears.
