Synopsis
Set in two timelines: one in 1920s British India during the uprising led by Bhagat Singh and a contemporary one in which a young British filmmaker, Sue, goes to Delhi to make a film about the revolutionaries, based on the memoirs of her grandfather who was present at Bhagat Singh's execution. She meets a group of disaffected students who are gradually drawn into her project, taking on the parts of the various Indian revolutionaries in the film. At the same time they begin to agitate against corruption and injustices in their own society, taking matters into their own hands, with tragic consequences.
