Pulp Fiction for KS5 Film Studies

Take a deep dive into Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction (1994) with a focus on Postmodernism.

Pulp Fiction (1994)

11am to 12pm, 27 April 2023, online

Aimed specifically at Eduqas students and teachers, this event will analyse Pulp Fiction through a Postmodern lens, building from introductory level towards more challenging aspects of the theory. Using Baudrillard’s framework of simulacra we will be analysing deep intertextuality in Pulp Fiction, linked to spectatorship.

In addition a study of narrative and narrative structure will again use a theoretical scaffold to facilitate an analysis of experimental approaches to narrative, helping students to engage in wider contexts linked to the film.
