Join us for this brand-new study day for KS3 and KS4 students. From political propaganda to more personal accounts of the times, this event will take students on a journey through modern Britain from WWII to more recent times. Showcasing a range of archive films from the BFI National Archive that highlight the perspectives of people who shaped modern Britain, exploring diverse identities, experiences, and voices.
Designed around the History and Citizenship curriculums, students will engage with guided learning activities that place these films in the context of cross-curricular themes including migration, identity, democracy, and media, supporting relevant learning outcomes.

To book call 020 7849 4451 and pay using a credit/debit card or download, print and return the booking form with cheque or card details. We cannot reserve seats, send invoices or accept BACS payments.
Please book by 4pm, two working days before the event. However, we recommend booking earlier to avoid disappointment.
Schools which have over 20% of students receiving free school meals should ask about a discount when booking.

The study day costs £10.00 per student.
Accompanying teachers / adults are charged £1 per 5 students — otherwise student rate applies.
Teachers attending without students cost £40.
