We are delighted to partner with the Goethe-Institut UK on this new interactive study day using film to explore themes of diversity and identity. Designed to deepen cultural understanding and develop new vocabulary, the event has been designed to support across the German AQA, Edexcel and Eduqas GCSE specifications, providing opportunities to practice listening, speaking and writing skills.

In the morning students will be introduced to various German language films and take part in related activities aimed at supporting with critical film and image analysis skills and encouraging discussions around the issues raised in the films in the target language.

In the afternoon there will be an introduced screening of a suitable German language feature film.

A study pack will be available on the day.

Schools which have over 20% of students receiving free school meals should ask about a discount when booking.

Please book by 4pm, two working days before the event. However, we recommend booking earlier to avoid disappointment.

The study day costs £10.00 per student.

Accompanying teachers / adults are charged £1 per 5 students — otherwise student rate applies.

Teachers attending without students cost £40.
