Applications for UK Attendance MIA Rome Market 2020

The BFI is inviting applications from UK film producers to take part at the MIA Rome Market in October 2020.

The objective is for UK industry to build relationships and develop a network with the Italian and European film industry in order to develop possible co-production projects and to further progress any opportunities it represents for UK film.

In 2020, the MIA market will be a hybrid edition, but with most of the programme taking place in Rome. During the week you will be able to meet international producers and decision-makers at events and panels and be able to attend pitching sessions to find potential co-producers. Participants will be expected to demonstrate a high level of motivation and organisation in respect of determining their own meeting schedules, which will be facilitated by this year’s digital platform.

Applicants will be able to demonstrate success on an international level, a strong interest in working with Europe and specifically Italy and should ideally have viable projects with UK and Italian elements, where the UK producer needs specific local information and/or partners in order to realise these projects.
