Welcome to BFI Education Essentials. These open access, free to use curriculum teaching resources are designed to support at home learning across primary and secondary Key Stages 1-5 in the following subject areas:

These resources have been designed around our popular BFI Schools Study Days, which run throughout the academic year at the BFI Southbank and venues across the UK.

Each resource offers engaging activities, with a study pack that includes:

  • A downloadable worksheet to complete (in Word and PDF)
  • A link to a Vimeo Timeline of film clips or a full film Each resource also includes curriculum links to guide learning outcomes.
