Film Forever covered all BFI activity and was funded by Grant in Aid from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and a share of National Lottery receipts, as well as from earned income including fundraising and entrepreneurial activity.

We are keenly aware that BFI resources are a relatively modest part of the overall film finance landscape, and so we determined to focus on three priority areas only during this period:

  • expanding education and learning and boosting audience choice
  • supporting the future success of British film
  • unlocking our film heritage

Further details of the Film Forever plan can be found in the downloadable PDF below.
