This study day aimed at KS3 uses French short film, interactive activities and an afternoon screening of a feature film to inspire and motivate students into learning and speaking French.
Conducted in French and English, the morning session will be made up of a clip-based presentation introducing students to a range of French short films alongside language activities aimed at expanding vocabulary and encouraging listening and speaking in French.
There will be an opportunities for extending vocabulary and for students to discuss themes and ideas linked to the films. In the afternoon there will be an introduced screening of a French feature film (with English subtitles)
In the afternoon, students will be introduced to Belle et Sébastien: New Generation (2022).
A students and teacher resource pack will be provided on the day.
Students should bring a pen and a clipboard, large book or something to support their study pack booklets for writing in during the morning activities.

Accompanying teachers / adults are charged £1 per 5 students — otherwise student rate applies.
Teachers attending without students cost £40.
