Patrick Fahy

Patrick joined the BFI’s Filmographic Unit in 2001, and is now Documentation Team Leader, overseeing the Documentation Editors’ work creating credits records for the BFI’s Collection Information Database (CID) and for Sight and Sound, as well as the programme notes for screenings at BFI Southbank. Work is also under way on a complete UK filmography.

Patrick read Modern and Medieval Languages and Literature at Cambridge University, and has worked as a bookseller, an English language teacher and a cartoonist (for Richard Ingrams’ magazine The Oldie). His film reviews, articles and interviews have appeared in Sight and Sound and on the BFI website.
