BFI Flare returns from 17 to 28 March 2021, celebrating the best new LGBTIQ+ films from around the world.

The festival will be presented entirely virtually. We welcome individuals currently working in a professional capacity in the UK film industry or wider screen sectors to apply for industry accreditation to make the most of this year’s festival.

Due to rights restrictions, unfortunately only those based in the UK can access both the digital viewing library and the press and industry screenings. If you are based outside of the UK and wish to take part in industry networking please contact for more information.
