Industry delegates will be able to request access to select public screenings (subject to availability). The industry pass does not include online access to the festival screenings or events, and access to any public event or screening in the festival is not guaranteed. 

BFI Flare 2026 industry programme details

The 2026 BFI Flare: London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival industry programme offers topical industry-focused discussions with BFI Flare guests from across the globe, alongside networking events and press and industry screenings.

The industry events programme, taking place between 19 and 26 March at BFI Southbank, includes events on film and television law, the history of Frameline, the San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival, inclusivity on set, portraying trauma responsibly, the business of queer cinema, preserving LGBTQIA+ cinema and much more.

BFI Flare also continues to host The Makers, its popular series of one-to-one interviews with individuals who have made a major contribution to LGBTQIA+ film and television throughout their career. These events will be open to industry delegates and public audiences. Our guests this year are Cheryl Dunye, Campbell X and Louise Weard and Alice Maio Mackay.

Throughout the festival from 18 to 29 March, delegates can join industry networking receptions supported by our partners the High Commission of Canada in the UK, Directors UK, BAFTA and Women in Film and Television.
