UK Global Screen Fund International Distribution Festival Launch funding

Overview

The UKGSF International Distribution Festival Launch strand aims to grow the international reach and value of UK films by supporting their launch at international festivals.

Non-recoupable grants are available to assist UK sales agents and UK producers with the cost of enhanced publicity and marketing activity, along with the technical and logistical costs involved with a high-profile festival launch.

Applicants should demonstrate how they will utilise a festival premiere to enhance the promotion, reach and value of their UK film internationally.

When you can apply

Applications are accepted all year-round but must be submitted at least four  weeks (not including public or bank holidays) before the official start date of the festival your film is launching at.

Who can apply

UK-based sales agents, or UK producers (where there is no sales agent appointed), representing films that have been invited to have their world, international, North American or European premiere in an official category, or competition, at an eligible festival.

The dates listed below are the deadlines for applying for International Distribution Festival Launch funding. These dates are four weeks (not including public or bank holidays) before the festival starts
