Overview
UKGSF P&A funding aims to help secure wider and higher profile international cinema releases of UK films. Funding can support the P&A costs of a grouping of international distributors releasing a UK film, or a single international distributor if releasing an animated feature or documentary feature, in cinemas. Non recoupable grants are awarded to films that have clear appeal to identified international audiences and strong potential for commercial success.
Who can apply
Applications must be made by either the UK-based sales agent appointed to sell the film internationally or the lead UK producer of the film where there is no sales agent appointed.
When you can apply
Opens on 5 March 2026 and we accept applications on a rolling basis.
Applications must be submitted at least 20 working days before the film’s earliest release date in the territories for which you’re applying.
