Overview
Film Sales Minimum Guarantee makes non-recoupable grants to support UK sales agents to offer minimum guarantees (MGs) to secure international sales rights to UK feature films.
Funding can be used towards the cost of an MG for one or more films across a twelve-month period and can support up to 50% of the total amount on any individual MG.
Films supported can be in any genre and must have theatrical potential.
When you can apply
This fund opened on 19 August 2026 and closes at 12pm on Tuesday 29 September 2026.
The next round is scheduled to open in autumn 2027.
Who can apply
UK-based film sales companies that sell the rights of independent films to distributors and have handled international sales rights to at least one film released theatrically in the past twelve months.
