The impacts of leaving the EU on the UK’s screen sector

Following the Referendum on the UK’s membership of the European Union (EU), the BFI set up a UK Screen Sector Task Force to look at how the UK leaving the EU might affect the UK’s screen sector, which spans film, television, video games, animation programming, and post-production and VFX.

This report, commissioned by the BFI’s Research and Statistics Fund on behalf of the Task Force, provides an overview of the overall landscape to inform the industry with quantitative, economic analysis on a range of exit scenarios.
