Filmmaker Charlotte Regan talks to Ben Wheatley about his creative process, storyboarding, what to drink on set and his new psychological thriller Rebecca. Presented in partnership with BFI NETWORK.

Rebecca, based on Daphne du Maurier’s novel, in which a young newlywed moves to her husband’s imposing estate in the haunting shadow of his late wife, is available to watch on Netflix now.
 
Charlotte Regan is a BFI Film Academy graduate who has earned BAFTA nominations and two BFI Future Film awards for her short film work. She was recently selected as a Screen Star of Tomorrow 2020, and is currently developing her first feature Scrapper with the BFI and BBC. Her most recent short No Ball Games can currently be viewed on The Guardian and was funded by BFI NETWORK via Doc Society.
