BFI at Home are hosting Jed Mercurio in conversation with head of BBC Writers’ Academy, John Yorke, focusing on the art of writing for television from the creator of some of the world’s biggest TV dramas, including Line of Duty and Bodyguard. Considered one of Britain’s most successful television writers, his shows are some of the most popular, regularly breaking viewing figure records. He’s written stories that cover everything from police anti-corruption, close protection and overworked junior doctors. Jed will be answering questions from emerging screenwriters and filmmakers from BFI Film Academy and BBC Maestro about his career, process and craft.
