In among them is the latest film from Ken Loach, the County Durham-set drama The Old Oak, which is backed by the BFI Film Fund, awarding funds from the National Lottery.

Another BFI backed film, Molly Manning Walker’s directorial debut How to Have Sex, has been announced for the Un Certain Regard section. Also in Un Certain Regard is Felipe Galvez’s first feature, The Settlers (Los colonos), which was supported through the UK Global Screen Fund.

As previously announced, Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon and the new Indiana Jones film, James Mangold’s Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, will premiere out of competition.
