I'm aware my choices have changed very little since the 2012 poll. There have been many films I've enjoyed and admired since then, but hardly any I'd choose over my original picks. Spider-Verse, though, was so exuberant that it persuaded me to put a fourth animated film into my top ten - not counting the 1933 King Kong, which was the first feature film owned by an animated star.
