All these films point to the strangeness, the magic atmospheres, the mystery and exoticism in the unique and sophisticated worlds of the great filmmakers.
Though it was hard, I did manage to choose my top 10 films of all time. If there had been room I would have put added films by Fellini, Forman, Ford, Mizoguchi and others; but this is what I decided on at the moment when I was considering all the possibilities.
