My list is the result of applying a set of somewhat arbitrary rules and restrictions (one film per decade; no films that received votes in the previous poll; certain geographical considerations, etc. etc.) to an unwieldy amount of potential candidates, the only feasible approach to this impossible task that I could think of. Below are ten films that were thus left out (also in the hope that other participants might vote for at least some of them):
