Handsome, charming, elegant – Cary Grant was the definitive Hollywood leading man. But the actor, born Archibald Leach in Bristol, took a swerve en route to suave: he started out as a vaudeville performer. Here BFI producer Nic Wassell, aided by voice over artist Romie Faienza, examines how pratfalls, acrobatics and stilt-walking helped Grant climb to the top rung of the Hollywood ladder.
