Up 3D + Q&A with Pete Docter & Jonas Rivera

Terry Gilliam recently stated that he would happily ‘sweep the floors of Pixar Studios’. Up is their latest effort, in which Carl Fredricksen, a grumpy old man, converts his house into a flying vehicle to visit the wilds of South America and fulfil his life long dream. The creative minds behind Up, Pete Docter and Jonas Riviera speak about the passion of making character-led animation and the way they use the 3D technology to service the story. While Pete Docter had literally lost his voice, he contributed to the discussion with some memorable sketching.
