The Real Tuesday Weld Live - The London Book of the Dead

Stephen Coates formed The Real Tuesday Weld in an attempt to recreate the sounds from his childhood home, converting them into subversive, electronic music. Inspired by artists such as Serge Gainsbourg and Ennio Morricone but also Coates’ dreams, the band here perform live songs from their album The London Book of Dead. Coates speaks about the influences behind and ambition for the album: an attempt to combine past but also contemporary sounds of London, and a journey of discovery through re-birth after death. Accompanied by brilliant animated clips, the show is a dazzling audiovisual experience.
