Mike Leigh on The 400 Blows

Director Mike Leigh introduces a screening of François Truffaut's The 400 Blows. One of his earliest experiences of foreign language cinema, Leigh describes seeing the film for the first time in 1960, the resonance of its story and the sense of immediacy found in its characterisation, dialogue and locations.
