The BAFTA and BFI Screenwriters Lecture Series: John Logan
Talking about his deep seated love of language and his total-immersion technique of writing, John Logan explores the process of being a modern dramatist and the lessons he brought from theatre on the importance of working with actors. Finding inspiration from the whole history of drama, from Sophocles and Shakespeare to Hitchcock, he discusses the genesis of his own adaptation of Coriolanus and how the world of cinema influences us even from early childhood.
