Unrelated + Q&A

Director Joanna Hogg discusses the making of Unrelated, her 2007 feature debut about an unhappy woman who joins another family's holiday with tumultuous results, starring Kathryn Worth and Tom Hiddleston.

Hogg talks about the advantages of shooting on a small budget and her tactic of filming in chronological order. She also muses on the irony that, despite focusing on the character of a middle-aged woman in Unrelated, it was ultimately the career of the young, male co-star that took off.
