How does one define greatest? It's impossible. What makes one beloved film more worthy than another? The only way I could possibly get to ten films was to favor great films that had a strong personal influence on me. These are ten of the movies that made me, not only shaping the way I watch and write about film but everything I love about the form. To me, that makes them pretty great.
