In this memoir, David Lynch opens up about a lifetime of extraordinary creativity, the friendships he has made along the way and the struggles he has faced to bring his projects to fruition.
Part-memoir, part-biography, Room to Dream tells Lynch’s life story from two alternating perspectives: one based on his memory and inner thoughts, the other based on interviews with Lynch’s friends, family members, ex-wives, actors, agents and more. Playing with form and memory, it’s a perfect reflection of Lynch’s work on screen.
Journalist Kristine McKenna has known David Lynch since the 1970s, and interviewed over a hundred people to create her part of the book.
The competition closes on Thursday 6 September 2018 and is open to UK residents only.
