Applications for UK delegation to Beijing, 2018

The programme

The objective is for UK industry to build relationships with the Chinese film industry in order to understand and progress the opportunities it presents for UK film.

The week-long programme will comprise one-to-many presentations, individual meetings, site visits and networking events. The delegation will also be expected to represent, promote and advocate for the UK film industry.

Who can apply

Applications are welcomed from experienced professionals in the field of development, production, sales, talent representation, distribution and exhibition who can demonstrate success on an international level and a strong interest in working with China.

Dates

Dates are Saturday 14 April (departure London – arrival in Beijing on Sunday 15 April) to Saturday 21 April. Economy flights, VISA costs and accommodation will be covered. Delegates will be offered the option of an economy ticket or the value of the economy ticket as a contribution towards an upgraded ticket.

Delegates may choose to fly in earlier or to leave later (accommodation to be at their own cost) but must be present in Beijing during the core dates of morning Monday 16 April through early evening Friday 20 April.

The application deadline is Friday 23 February 2018.
